Meet Lyla Mae a whopping 8 days old. Old lady right? Well she's just as adorable as her name would lead you to believe. A head full of hair and teeny tiny fingers and toes. And her lips. Oh her lips were so scrumptious. I could just eat her up. Enjoy!
Meet Emma and her adorable parents. I've known the family for a couple years now and when they told me they were expecting I just knew I had to get my hands on her. Fast forward and it's been a year now. Emma is a year. Hard to believe. She's still just a tiny little thing but oh so full of personality. Enjoy!
Let me start out by saying that I love this family. I probably say that about all of my families but it's so true. I have known Ben since Kindergarten, we were neighbors, bus buddies, and now our children are together on a daily basis. It's funny how life takes you in different directions yet you always end up back right where you started. Friends. They have been with me since the beginning of my career and I am forever grateful for that. Faith is now 4 and Caleb just turned 1. You'll probably see quite a bit of them on here. Enjoy!
Ava first came to me when she was just 3 days old. Yup, you read that correctly. 3 days. She was so teeny tiny. I didn't post back then so I thought I'd share a couple from her newborn session. Enjoy! Fast forward 6 months and little Miss isn't so little anymore. Her rolls are to die for! She is the queen of the stink face and completely adored by everyone especially her two older brothers. Her hobbies include drooling and eating :)
I want to start off by saying that I simply loved this family. Seriously, I'm hoping for a Holiday invitation Thanksgiving/Christmas. I'm picky :) They were so much fun! As an only child I love when I get to work with big families especially when they are as fun as they were. I think I'll kick things off with a remake of a childhood photo. Enjoy!
4 boys... Hunter 8, Jack 6, Luke 3, and Nathaniel 1. Means a whole bunch of crazy, belly giggles, and all things silly. Pretty much a normal afternoon if you have boys. When the boys grandma first asked me to photograph her crazy bunch I immediately jumped at the chanced. I've known the family for quite some time but hadn't gotten a chance to photograph them yet. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Hunter and Jack in super hero masks and swords. And that my friends is how you know it's going to be a great shoot and they did not disappoint. Hunter first came into my life through a photograph his great aunt had in her office. He was a itty bitty 2 year old with bright blue eyes and in a blue shirt. It pretty much made everyone swoon. He was that adorable. And now that he's 8 I don't think it's appropriate to call him adorable, he's supposed to be handsome and all the other grown up terms. And freckles oh those freckles! And then there's Jack or as everyone calls him Jack-Jack. He's 6 and his freckles are to die for. This kids personality is pretty much amazing. He's your typical all American boy with the best belly laughs imaginable. Next is Luke. He's 3 and the biggest flirt. How could you not love him. I wanted to scoop him up and take him home with me. I think he would fit in just fine. Last but not least is baby Nathaniel. He recently just turned 1 and wanted nothing to do with me lol He is a total momma's boy but anyone who knows me knows that I love me some good ol' baby rolls and he did not disappoint.
